Every day your customers type questions into Google before they ever call. "Why does my drain keep clogging?" "Is hydro jetting worth it?" "Snaking vs jetting, which do I need?" Each of those questions is a page you could own. Answer it well and that page ranks, gets found, and drops a pre-sold homeowner onto your site who already trusts you.
You don't need a blog with 100 posts. You need honest answers to the ten questions you already hear on every estimate. You know these answers cold. The only work is writing them down.
Mine the questions you already get asked
For a week, have your techs jot every question a customer asks on a job. "Will jetting damage my old pipes?" "How often should I jet a restaurant line?" Those are your titles. Real customer language ranks better than anything you'd invent.
"Why does my drain keep clogging even after I snake it?"
"Hydro jetting vs snaking: which one does my clog actually need?"
"How often should a restaurant hydro-jet its grease lines?"
"Will hydro jetting crack my old cast-iron pipes?"
Answer it straight, the way you'd explain it in the driveway
Give the real answer in the first two sentences, then explain. Don't bury it. A homeowner who gets a clear answer from you decides you're the honest one before they've called anybody.
"If your drain clogs again a week after snaking, the snake only punched a hole through the blockage instead of clearing the pipe wall. Grease and roots grow right back. Hydro jetting scours the pipe back to full diameter, which is why the clog stays gone longer. Here's how to tell which one you need..."
"In today's fast-paced world, drain maintenance is an important consideration for every homeowner." That answers nothing and reads like filler. The reader bounces.
Target the search, then link to the sale
Put the question in the page title and the first heading so Google matches it. End every answer with a soft next step: your jetting service page and your phone number.
"Not sure whether you need snaking or jetting in [City]? We'll run a camera first and tell you straight. Call (520) 555-0142."
Publish on a schedule you can keep
Two solid answers a month beats ten in a burst and then nothing. Steady publishing keeps adding pages that can rank for years.
Amy's Plumbing answers the exact "drain snaking vs jetting" question homeowners search, in plain language, on a single focused page. That page can rank and quietly feed them leads for years.
Do this: write down the five questions you answered most on jobs this month and turn the first one into a page this week.
Don't want to do this yourself?
We'll set it up and run it for you — this step and the rest of the plan — so you can stay on the truck. Built for jetting and drain-line companies only.
